UK Sold Prices – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
UK Sold Prices ("the add-on") is a Google Sheets add-on made by Squareworks, a sole-trader business based in London, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@squareworks.dev.
In short:
- We run no server, and the add-on stores nothing about you.
- We never see your spreadsheets.
- Only the postcodes in your search are sent, to the two public data services that supply the results.
What the add-on can access
- Only the spreadsheet you open it in.
- It reads the selected cell, so it can suggest a postcode.
- It writes your results into a new sheet in that spreadsheet.
- Google's permission system stops it from opening any other file.
- Nothing else in your Google account. It can't read your email, contacts, calendar or Drive.
Where your data is sent
When you search, the add-on sends the following directly from Google's Apps Script servers. Nothing passes through us.
| What is sent | Sent to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The postcode you searched for, and locations around it | postcodes.io | To find the postcodes within your chosen distance |
| Those postcodes and your date range | HM Land Registry's public data service | To fetch the recorded sale prices |
No other information about you, your account or your spreadsheet is sent. These services may keep request logs under their own policies.
What is stored
Nothing. The add-on keeps no record of you, your searches or your spreadsheets. Results are written only into your own spreadsheet, and they stay there until you delete them.
Google user data
UK Sold Prices' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Spreadsheet data is not:
- sold;
- used for advertising;
- used to train AI or machine-learning models.
If you email us
We keep your email address and message so we can answer you, for up to two years after the conversation ends. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@squareworks.dev. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If a paid tier is added, this policy will be updated before it launches, to explain what is stored, why, and for how long.
